Limited Warranty

 

Duration - covers the original owner of a genuine Attn2Detail Mercantile (A2D) for the life of the product.  Product must be purchased from A2D or one of our authorized sellers with proof of purchase unless otherwise prohibited by law.

 

Disassembly, or repairs performed by anyone other than the A2D custom shop voids our warranty.

 

Coverage - A2D warrants all of our genuine products are free from defects in material and workmanship.  This warranty does NOT cover loss, theft, damage caused by accidents, abuse, misuse, improper handling, alterations, neglect, improper sharpening and normal wear and tear.  Do not use your knife as a screwdriver, pry bar, chisel or punch. Do not throw your knife or use it for anything other than cutting

Repairs

 

Sharpening - you only pay shipping/handling/insurance for a standard sharpening.

 

Reassembly - Knives disassembled by the user can be reassembled to A2D custom shop specifications provided the component parts are returned to us or we have stock of any parts required.  The fee for this service is $50, plus the cost of any parts replaced by us and shipping/handling/insurance.

 

Re-finishing or other “Spa Treatments” - email us for what you want to have done and we can give you a cost before you send us the knife.

 

Shipping

 

Shipping/handling/insurance for repairs and returns are the responsibility of the buyer.  Warranty items if is a result of our materials or workmanship will be covered by A2D.

Return Policy 

 

Returned items must be in NEW/UNUSED condition and include all original packaging and or certificates.  You may request a Return Authorization (RA) by email within 72 hours of receiving the product. Items cannot be returned without an RA.  Once inspected, we will issue a refund, less shipping charges, within 3-5 business days.  There is a 15% restocking fee on non-defective items to offset lost shipping, credit card and labor costs.
